Oftentimes, things come full circle. It took me a while to return
to the earth full time. For many years I traveled all over the world. It’s a big world, so there are still many places
I would like to visit, but for now I will do it at a much slower pace and I’ll do it with my husband, Philip.
I went to college the first time around at Rutgers University,
with a semester abroad at the University of Valencia. I was a language major, becoming fluent in Spanish and relearning my
first language of Italian. The second time around, I attended Pierce College and UCLA where I’ve learned the skills
to fuel my passion for the earth and all things that spring from it.
I have found that all my interests – cooking, painting, sewing, reading – contribute to the design
process. I am so lucky to be able to combine everything I love and have experienced into a business where I can constantly
be creating for others. When I am not doing that, most likely I am in my own garden, which is in constant evolution.
